Love that area but I still like north MH a little better.
Yeah, Hillcrest, just west of Morley Field. LUV that Insinkerator sprayer mounted over the kitchen sink, lol!
That’s actually Marston Hills, hence why folks consider it a premium location, just go look at the homes around it. Also there are no homes across the street and is right across the street from the park. The home is remarkably preserved and needs updating, but the original condition is amazing. for a home of its age, there is no apparent buckling/settling in the floors which is not unusual just due to natural settlement/age even with no soil /foundation issues. The tile in the bathroom is even in amazing original condition with no cracks. Most wouldn’t keep it, but it attests to the craftmanship and care in the home. The garage was built with redwood, etc. Its REALLY rare you see a home like this anymore in original condition.
Of course, zzz, that house has to be right across the st from the Boy Scout/Girl Scout HQs. I was part of a running group for 10 years that regularly used that nearby trail traversing the SR-163 canyon and sometimes we would jog around Myrtle Ave/Way (behind your subject property). I just loved the houses on that circle that looked tiny from the street but were actually 2-3 stories down the surrounding canyon, lol! SDPD used to have horse patrols throughout the 163 canyon, among others. Are they still doing this and is their horse stn just below the aeronautical museum (President’s Way)?? I know they’ve had to endure massive budget cuts and haven’t checked this lately.
