You’re right, rnen. And I’m not entirely objective either. After working for LAUSD years ago, I saw first-hand how much taxpayer money is being spent on entitlements for illegal immigrants. It’s not just the teachers’ salaries, but the additional administration, free breakfast & lunch programs, free school supplies (most schools that cater to illegal immigrants are Title I/Chapter I/low-income schools and because of the additional federal and state money, teachers are specifically NOT ALLOWED to ask students to bring ANY supplies to school…not even a pencil). These schools also often qualify for additional staffing hours for things like a full-time psychologist, full-time nurse, and full-time certificated staff to assist with testing, etc…and all the additional administrative expenses (on a local, state and federal level) to go with it…and the additional testing expenses…it goes on and on…
