You fail to recognize that the mess we’re in has a relation to the legacy of 8 years of rampant . . . ahem . . . mismanagement.
Make clear I am not praising any decisions made now by BO. BUT, in view of being stuck between a rock and a hard place, few choices are left BO.
I say let them all fail. BO is trying to make everyone happy and getting criticism from everyone. I would make everyone unhappy. Nevertheless, I doubt that, say McCain, would make any different decision. In fact, Bush actually proposed part of what BO is doing now.
