You can do partial employment for one or both and maybe no work for one of you, but there are some vulnerabilities as others have pointed out.
It can cost a lot to work and have kids, so you have removal of some of that expense on your side.

I think it will work best if your are going to live happily ever after with your spouse.Maybe you will feel really vindicated for getting out of the rat race in the end. At this level of net worth, if you ever had to split the assets and run two households maybe not so much laughing, maybe it works out fine either way.
