I am new to the Forums but I enjoy your posts. When I looked the properties at the StoneBridge a year ago, I backed out due to the location of the cummunity.
Howerver, after a year of searching homes around 4S, RB, Poway area. The homes in StoneBridge seem have better design and floorplan. There are huge.
I like plan3 home in IvyGate cummunity but there is none for sale.
Big home, big lot. Location still a concern (got two young kids and wife is working).
Appreciate your advise.

I am not sure how people use 5600 sqf home for just 4 people, but beware of $500+ utility bill, if you must have that much space.
For me, if I need 1400sqf space between each other, I might as well stay single. 1400sqf is what I had before for a 3 bed room condo and much bigger than my studio when I stared working in late 90’s. I don’t know what the point is to have a “family” if you need that much space to each other…
I am pretty sure when the kids get to 9 or 10 years old, given that much sqare footage in your house, they will all hide into their room after school and then soon in 2 -3 years, you won’t know who they are any more.
I personally won’t buy a house over 2800sft, unless they are $100K cheaper than the 2800sft. Yeap, you read it right, they have to be cheaper than the smaller house for me to consider buying it.
