Yes the treastax site is very useful. People are often surprised at how much info I can find about them. I tell them the names on their title, how much they paid and when they bought, the assessed property value, whether their tax installments are up to date, and then I laugh maniacally like Dr. Evil (with the back-of-my-pinky-finger-to-mouth hand gesture). That’s usually when they slam the door. 🙂
What I really want to find out is who the lender is.
