Wow! Your toys last a week? My 3 year old destroys anything in his reach so quickly that he has been demoted to playing with sticks in the yard! FYI, not a fan of a 16 year old kid sharing the family bed, both boys now sleep in their own rooms but as tiny infants it pained me too much to see them crying alone in their cribs.
Now I am off topic but the kids are so fun, love them, and I wish the original poster much joy with their upcoming baby.
I guess I should go try spending some of that quality time with the kids that everyone is talking about:)
