Who knows what their secret algorithm is. They probably have a built up an entire consumer profile on you- your favorite restaurants, your areas of interest (Computer stuff,electronics,audio/video, home improvement)– and a certain deviation from your normal pattern will trigger a fraud alert. Of course in your case the alert triggered even at places you frequent often. Strange.
