While I appreciate all the heartfelt marital advice, I was really just hoping to get the scuttlebut on this property (SD Realtor, Carlsbad Jim, et al.) I was just amazed at how quickly it went and I had that 2004 deja vu feeling — not fun.
And trust me, I am a bear on the housing market. I’ve been waiting for over four years now. I’ve made a calculated decision that if the right property comes along that works for my family, I’ll move on it. I fully understand that prices are likely to decline further, even in coastal North County. I think it’s great that many of you will wait it out and buy at the bottom — more power to you. It’s just not the path for me, at this point in my life.
