When I get a chance I will post more but yes client control is important and not a bad thing. RE transactions involve legal documents and clients often will run amok unless you keep them appraised of their responsibilities as well as their rights. Client control does not or should mean pursuading them to do things against their best interests but rather educating them on how to act in their own best interests.
