Well, then, there you go. No law about adopting. There’s the back door. Heck, w/the way investments are looking for some retired folks, offering them some money for adoption might be appealing and a win-win for both parties. Government loses out on revenue. But w/the way they’re handling finances, that does not trouble me much.
Not to go off on a tangent (I hope not to thread hijack) I was driving around 4$ last week and noticed the streets are not much better than driving around PB. Honestly. City complains Prop 13 is why the streets are in bad shape. Setting aside the fact of the low percentage of people who actually are paying low taxes since this re bubble, people in 4$ are also paying MR. You’d think in a new neighborhood their streets would be perfect.
