Well, Guido and I finally decided to end the frustration and found another rental house that we actually like and plan to stay in.
We had only planned to be in our current rental for a few months while looking to buy, and never really liked it. But since the inevitable decline in home prices is being dragged out so long we thought we should just get comfortable and wait it out.
We were temped a few times to buy, but I just couldn’t stomach fighting with twenty other people over some crummy shack. And we still can’t afford the higher priced areas. It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out in light of the spring-summer uptick in prices.
