we love corner homes, typically you are looking at larger side yard, and the added benefit of not having neighbors on both sides looking in.
that said, Essence is a mighty long street with a lot of homes that will use your corner to enter and exit. which essentially wash away the positives of a corner home.
the corner homes of coldwater/esprit or scarsdale/chalon/tradition, on the other hand, have minimal traffic in and out and would be much better.
the main issue remains the price. $600k for something like this is awfully steep. I say $400-450k would be more reasonable. remember the home was sold for $517k in 2003.
afterall, Maybeck in 4S is already down to $604k for 2800 sqft.
