Thanks, SK in CV. So you now moved to CV? Some says Inland is 10-15 degree hotter/colder. Any comments? What about price range? Any difference among these communities? Any info. will be appreciated. Or is there an agent familiar with the area to recommend? Thanks.
I know the area a bit, having lived not too far from Poway at one point, but still cycle/hike near there. Its fairly isolated from just about anything but Walmart/Costco, etc. There’s no mall, no nightlife, not many good restaurants, and you’re a good 35 minutes from the coast. The people I know who live there do so because 1. they couldn’t afford to be closer to the coast 2. they wanted to live without the congestion..some parts feel like you’re in the country 3. they wanted a good school district
Basically, you have to drive to get anywhere if you live in Poway.
And yes, it can get very hot during the summers. You will need to run the air in your house as you are too far to get the coastal breezes. The tradeoff is you get more land. The wildfire risk is ever present.
It comes down to what you want in characteristics in a neighborhood.
