Believe it or not, on a few occasions when we’ve submitted “lowball” offers (still very generous in our minds), the seller lowered the price right after declining our offer.
We like to think we’re doing our civic duty when waking sellers up to the reality of the market with our offers. It does sometimes seem to help other buyers, and that’s a win for us, too. 🙂
