temecula has been very good to me. I’m not going anywhere. hell, I should be less of an ingrate and ‘invest in my community”. I actually kind of belong here. Not quite like “Cheers”, perhaps, but, temecula is my town. I wouldn’t dream of moving to san diego county. And i’m a super-liberal ivy-league type snobby agnostic intellectual. I…uhh,….like it here….
nice bike riding up in the hills. heck this is where Floyd Landis pedals along. also my bike commute is good even though this is a crap town generally for bike commuting. it can be good anywhere if you live int he right place with the right route.
Also, I’m just kinda…set up…and my kids have friends they really like and do not appear to be in immminent danger of using drugs…and my wife makes money…and…I’m not going anywhere…
I saw a “Temecula” t-shirt for sale at rite aid the other day. mayeb i should buy it…this city is good.
(emphasis added)
Lol, scaredy, I would have thought someone with your background and interests would be living by choice in Berkeley or even working in public service in Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino or Humboldt County with their AWESOME beauty and biking trails and where you would fit in famously, BTW. (Geyserville, anyone??)
Maybe I’m out of touch, but RIV Co to me just seems like a dried up branch-office area, somewhere urban low-income and fixed income people flock to for the sole reason of vast tracts of “cheap” housing.
But, since you’re happy there, scaredy, I’m happy for you. Now, go get yourself that t-shirt :=)
