Wall Street Journal is reporting that Prince will resign tomorrow (Sunday) and that the Citigroup board is having an emergency meeting to discuss write-down related issues, Prince’s departure and problems associated with credit crunch and liquidity.
I would be willing to bet that Jimmie Cayne at Bear Stearns is next to go. There are rumors floating around that Bear is in play right now.
