Agree with the statement, but the biggest risk to Roth is that some day a politician can simplify the tax by removing the income tax and make consumption tax the default tax system. Actually, that was Ron Paul’s tax plan: http://www.ronpaul.com/2009-04-15/end-the-income-tax-abolish-the-irs/
I’m definitely not going to put all my money in that basket, hoping the income tax would rise at that time. There’re just millions other ways the government could tax you.
