One of my most favorite quotes is from Dan Brown’s Angels and Demons. When asked about his faith by a priest, Robert Langdon responds “Faith is a gift that I have yet to receive”. On my favorite left wing blog, I was recently described by a friend as “the most religious non-believer that I’ve ever come across” because of my bibical citations. I’m not a believer (in much of anything), but that doesn’t mean that I think religion doesn’t have some important lessons. As do fairy tales.
