UCGal, I’m glad to hear. I DO know couples who are modern and make it work, but they just are not in the majority. I find it shocking and surprising that more of those modern couples don’t make it work, but it seems their complicated lives and the constant power struggle becomes too much.
May I ask about your dynamics? Are you both communicators? Are you both fairly easy going and agreeable? Is one of you more of the leader and the other a follower and happy with it? Are you both Type A? Just trying to get some insight.
