two different times I went through the process to rent one of my units to Section 8 tenants
in both cases I changed my mind after fielding a few phone calls and meeting a few potential tenants at the properties – the idea of renting one of my units to these people AND subsidizing their rent with MY tax dollars was unacceptable
another thing to be aware of inre Section 8 – they allow 2 people per LIVING space, not bedroom – so a 3 bdrm unit can have up to 8 people living in it since the living room / den is a living space – a 1 bdrm Section 8 condo could have 4 adults living in it!
