Tough luck. Have you tried AARP? They offer home insurance ( http://aarp.thehartford.com/Property-Insurance/Home-Insurance/ ) through The Hartford and have a lifetime renewability policy; as long as you don’t miss any payments, they will not cancel your coverage. If they agree to take you on as a client then you should be set for life.
