Carter got the ball roling and Clinton supercharged it. The “truth hurts”. As incompetent as Bush and the Rep. party has been it was the Dems. brilliant plan of forcing banks to give loans to those who could not pay it back that was the source. Then you have two Dems in particular, Dodd and Frank who worked very hard to defeat Rep. legisltion to curb Freddie and Fannie, not once but twice! And go on to tell us how there was no problem with either entity and that they were financialy sound!!!
