To be completely honest, when I first heard about this story I immediately felt that Sarah Palins rhetoric was responsible, and I hoped that she would suffer for it. But then I realized I was no better than what I think she is. We are all in this together. I think that it is important that we all respect one anothers opinions and not feel the need to resort to violence or even hate.
What I learned from this and hope others do too, is that we are all trying our best. And yes, it is time to tone down the rhetoric, myself included.
