This is extremely sad and as stated in a earlier post we will be seeing much more of this in the next few years. I run a program that helps two separate organizations, one is Angels Foster Family Network and Rady Childrens Hospital. It is pretty sad to see how many people who are still doing fine ignore the need out there.
Both Rady Childrens and Angels Foster Network have seen donations drop off dramatically. I have a huge heart for children as they unfortunately don’t have the ability to help themselves, especially those that are sick or without a family.
I think we Piggs need to establish something to help out families and organizations this Christmas and during these troubling economic times! I would be more than happy to put some sort of site together if I can get enough Piggs interested.
