The Republicans changed bankruptcy law to make it harder get out from under debt at the same time Americans were taking on insane debt loads.

Mind you, I have *zero* sympathy for Joe Six-Pack that owes 500k on his 200k mexican prison. Especially if he *voted* for Bush!
