The one thing to remember is that our electric rates are quite high and our marginal rates are very high. This usually prevents heat pumps from being cost effective even though they should work well in our climate.
You need to look through your bills and run your calculations based on which rate level you reach.
Probably best for modern construction with really good insulation.
