The death of Osama Bin Laden has really not given me much to cheer about. It would have been nice for him to experience some of the pain he has created for others through his ‘proxies’. Instead, he was shot while using women as human shields. It also give some of the more extreme followers a potential to see him as a martyr.
I felt that capturing him, putting him under long term sedation.. and giving him a sex-change operation, followed by dropping him off back in or near his followers with the body of a woman.. would in some forms be the ultimate in irony. It might also dissuade some of the other extremists from following in his footsteps.
