That’s right SDR, the majority doesn’t pay their fair share. The majority is no longer paying income taxes.
More programs, more spending, more handouts, it’ll just keep coming because the majority pays NOTHING for them.
Contrary to whimsical opinions, it’s not the scums like the McCourts not paying their share of income taxes.
The whole thing needs a good scrapping, but it’s just going to be another tax, and if the backlash looks too big, then they’l scrap that and come up with a value added fee. Since taxes rile people up, but then again, fees have been abused enough that those are as bad as taxes.
Maybe they’ll take a page from the Teacher Unions in their promoting slogans like ‘just a penny’ on their propositions in many States for increasing the sales taxes by 1 cent…
