That says nothing at all about the millions upon millions of people who have seen their purchasing power, job security, old-age security, etc. decline over the past few decades.
“Growth” doesn’t mean much if ~95% of the economic gains have gone to the top 1%. For most of the population, the economy has been destroyed.
