Very thought provoking, but it reminds me of the likes of those claiming (logically) that an economic collapse is around the corner. It hasn’t happened yet, and it most likely will not happen.
I believe we go on doing we what we are doing for at least another 200 years without any significant consequence. Both from an environmental and economic standpoint.
Humans are warriors – on net humans love to kill, destroy, eat, have sex, crap and pee. And not much more thanks to the progressive movement.
The good news is that according to NASA there are tens of billions of earth like planets in our galaxy alone – fortunately we just don’t matter as much as we think we do.
We have become invincible though for the time being thanks to technology.
