Thanks every one for your comments. At the end, I was only interviewing White and Asian candidates and I rented the room out to an Asian American UCSD student. I just perceive Asian and White people are less threatening to have in my house and are less like to miss the rent payment. Of course, there are exceptions but I am just playing with percentages here. Arabs, on the other hand, it is the religion thing. I would feel weird if someone starts to say “allah akbark” five times a day in my house.
