Although we do not have this issue near residential housing in SD County, I DO believe living near nuclear test sites, nuclear dumps and nuclear test facilities is a major factor in being diagnosed with several types of cancer, some deadly. In addition, Dept of Energy employees and their contractors who do NOT live or work near these facilities but are regularly badged into them are at risk of developing cancer. I have seen both of these phenomenons first hand for healthy people who have been diagnosed with unexplained cancers.
