She might have missed the sarcasm because what you wrote actually makes sense. I’d be happy to have a system where people can opt out, but if they do, then they should not have access to 911 or any other pubic safety benefits. This includes when you’re in a car accident or if there’s a disaster of some sort…you’re all on your own, have at it!
As to #7, yeah, people with experience generally know more about it. That’s just a fact. It’s frustrating to hear a group off folks with zero experience or knowledge pull stories and generalizations from their asses, and then spread them around on the internet as if it’s the truth.
