Surveyor, you’ve made a good point — GW was a little less stupid than we remember, although he did only score a 25% on his pilot aptitude test and never would have been accepted into the Texas Guard had it not been for”affirmative action” from his congressman father. But Bush did have the smarts to dodge Vietnam by entering the Guard, so he did have something going on upstairs.
All due respect, but starting from nowhere, getting through Harvard, and becoming a law professor at the University of Chicago takes a lot more brain power than getting a 25% on your pilot aptitude test. If anyone received the blessings of affirmative action, it was Bush. Had it not been for his family, he’d be running a GM car lot in Houston (and we’d all be a lot better for it).
