sreeb – yes, I found out you can go online before you had mentioned it. The website, though, is not 100% accurate. Sometimes they get a shipment in and it’s not on their website until the next day or they sell something and it’s not updated on the website until the next day.
In any case, I found out that the Santa Ana store is like the main one. We took a road trip up there. Worth the $20 in gas.
They had a much bigger selection than San Diego. They even had some commercial KitchenAid fridges and some very high end ranges like JennAir and Wolf that were regular 5k something selling for 3k something. Of course, not in our price range and our kitchen is so small, those appliances would occupy the entirety of the room.
In any case, some of the items were new and some of them were used. We had to sift through quite a bit. We almost decided against the KitchenAir frigerator for a very high end french-door Samsung that was also 50% off for 1770. But in the end we decided to keep the side by side one we had. (We have a week to pick it up and if we decide not to get it, they will credit us)
We bought a dishwasher, stainless steel Bosch
regular price at Sears was $1,350 (tag in back still on it). The cheapest I saw it on line was AJ Madison for about $1,200. We bought it for $877. It was in perfect brand-new condition. They had some kind of $20 off coupon also. I think it may qualify for the Energy Star $30 rebate, too. Still way more than I wanted to spend, but I think it’s one of the best.
UCGal – WOW! That is just one beautiful range. I really like the aesthetics. Sadly, way out of our budget. That’s a range for a dream home/dream kitchen.
