So you thought it was trashy? Wow, I did not get that impression the few times I have been up there. Maybe where I live is the slums in your opinion and the condo I rent isn’t that bad (albeit I am surrounded by the slums).
Again, it really depends on the area. Last time I was up in Temecula proper for a wedding I thought that particular area was gorgeous. Big sprawling ranches. But again, this was the ‘rich’ area.
I unfortunately don’t know remember which neighborhood that was.
Anyways, the banks are going to have to do something with all those empty houses. My theory is you will see whole neighborhoods of low-income families living 2-3 to a property and then taking shared transportation to minimum wage jobs in the city.
