So, we just sold our home as a short sale through Battiata. We listed in early November, got bank approval in late January, and closed March 8th. Pretty fast!
Like some people here warned, Battiata’s team was out of touch and weird to deal with. Their experience dealing with short sales is the reason to go with them. They know how to deal with the banks.
I asked the buyers agent how it was dealing with them, and the agent admitted it was not easy at first.
I would recommend them to anyone selling a house that is underwater. I would not recommend them if you are the type that needs your hand held the whole way. You must be proactive with them. When we are ready to buy in a few years, I will definately look for another agent.
