So CIA knew this guy was a “terrorist” for months and did nothing? Man this story is falling apart at the seams. All that wiretapping and ease dropping is supposed to keep us safe. What happened here?
The CIA is neither Central nor Intelligent. There are several little fiefdoms within the CIA.. each trying to gain power/protect themselves at the cost of another ‘fiefdom’. The CIA also does not act Intelligently.. it acts bureaucratically.
Remember that the CIA had warnings from their men in the field that several Arabs were taking pilot training and that they seems more concerned with flying and less with take-off/landing. The higher ups dismissed the warnings from the men in the field. This was pre 9/11
