sdr, I cannot see the plate too well in the photo – thought they were older NM. Current NM plates are yellow but saw 3 diff. plates displayed while driving thru there. Observed motorists in AZ are currently displayng three diff. plates as well and observed TX currently displaying two diff. plates.
All of my post above still applies to Wickedheart – the craigslist ad may be legitimate and bears further checking if (s)he is serious about the car.
It is truly shocking how cheap you can buy a used car in other states. The trick is in driving it back here and getting it registered.
