Absolutely it did. As you know, this was a really good deal for the property and area. I have no doubt there were multiple offers within a few hours of listing, and firmly believe it sold for over list.
These changes come in tiny increments. There are houses now being listed in the high-$600-$800K range that would have listed for $800K-$1MM+ a few years ago. They are selling more slowly. It’s perceptible only if you’re watching things very closely (as I know you are, too).
The house you referenced was listed well below what some other, more marginal properties have been listed for. Somebody will likely get a good deal. Hopefully, it’s not a flipper — though I’m sure the flippers came out en masse to bid it up.
