If it’s the one we talked about the other week, it’s still a good deal.
BTW, it seems that most of the country saw a RE boom in the mid to late 80s with a subsequent drop in the early 90s. Isn’t this what you saw on the east coast? Many others I’ve spoken to about it seem to remember it the way we saw it on the west coast.
We all (California, the U.S., and the world) saw RE price increases during the credit bubble (2001-2007, plus the manipulation years of 2008-???? for the areas that weren’t allowed to drop yet). Even if there were no price increases during that time (in only a few areas), chances are prices were stable/slightly dropping when they should have been falling more dramatically.
