SDR – I think most of the NODs posting was to help myself as well as others. I was so frustrated by the bubble. I wanted more transparency and I think posting those NODs allowed me to track places that were in distress and allowed others to also be aware of what’s going on in those ZIPs. It didn’t take up that much time. But it seemed to be the only way I can channel my frustration. Rather than sit there and do nothing, at least I made the effort to be active in my quest. I could’ve sat around and complained. But following those NODs gave me some hope I’d find something.
TG – thanks for your thoughtful post. True, as I said, I could not have purchased this house a year or two ago b/c they were still asking peak bubble prices for it. I hope that once I get moved in and settled down and doing gardening that I will enjoy it more and be less disappointed.
and brian – thanks. LOL. I agree that many times the “in love” decisions are not the best thought out ones. Inevitably in my life they tended to be disasterous.
I wish that everyone that is looking finds something that makes sense to them and in a perfect world, that they love.
I love my DH so that will make up for not being “in love” w/the house.
