sdduuuude, I HAD thought of this arrangement for a S. Lake Tahoe fixer property. Since it would cost many thousands of dollars per ski season to spend as much time as I would want to in a vacation rental, I thought of going in with just ONE other party (perhaps a boater-type) that would want to use it for the warmer months of the year, who was perhaps handy, as well. I would buy the materials and pay most of the utils if the other party could do most of the repairs/renovations. That’s why I would want a larger lot, so a boat could be left there, covered, year-round.
