My apologizes, I simply tried to find something simple enough for you to understand. And you may have noticed that the Fed’s role is *clearly* mentioned, which I do not dispute.
There have been asset bubbles throughout history that predate the Federal Reserve. One of the most famous books on asset bubbles was written in 1841 in fact!
Your argument doesn’t hold any water.
If the housing bubble was an act of arson, the Fed provided the gasoline, the free market the house and Wall Street lit the match. That act would have been impossible without the full co-operation of all parties. Laying the blame exclusively on one participant simply is not accurate.
