How about offline? This is infinitely harder (actually it’s “work”) than sitting online complaining about the PTB and their “stupid” decisions.
Speaking from experience, working on a campaign or gathering signatures is not only exhausting but “enlightening,” to say the least. Maybe after having these experiences, the “online ranting blogger” might decide politics is better left to individuals who have the daily stamina to confront all they are up against in the REAL world and stop complaining so much.
If you actually work hard to help put someone in office who wins that office and you are THEN dissatisfied with their performance in that office, then you will have every right to complain, IMHO.
