I’m not disagreeing with that. But the fact of the matter is, I don’t buy alot of stuff; I spend money on food, booze and debt these days. True, I do own stuff that was either partially or entirely made in China. And again, I really don’t have any problem with it. I certainly don’t mind the Chinese working in factories to produce cheap computer components that in the long run enable me to make more money. It’s beneficial to all parties as far as I’m concerned.
What I *do* have a problem with is the American urge to over-consume, which is exacerbated by stores like WalMart which are filled to the brim with cheap, plastic crap from overseas. All of which is going to ultimately end up in a landfill.
