To act civilized and to exist as a civilization requires certain things; one of which is social mores. The act of having numerous sex partners throughout the day goes against current mores. America is more civilized than ancient cultures because we are better than the past. These laws and social mores allow us to create new technology, eat and sleep comfortably, not have to worry about our personal safety, which allows us to have the longest life expectancies in the Earth’s glorious history.
