Restaurants and shops are still busy. We went out to a new Mexican restaurant the other day that has a huge seating capacity. Totally full, and lots of waiting (45-60 minutes at peak).
As I’ve said before, we saw a definite slowdown in the fall and winter of last year, but things visibly picked up around February of this year. Not sure what’s driving it (I’ve always considered it could be the massive number of people who are no longer paying their mortgages).
