I am amazed to see areas in LA, such as Sierra Madre, Pasadena, San Marino that are still putting homes on the market for more than they were purchased for during the peak.

Not just in LA. Contrary to the news reports, we’re seeing plenty of idiots in San Diego county expecting big profits from their leveraged purchases at the top of the market.
If you check out the highest-priced listings in coastal SD, you’ll see tons of these idiot flippers.
Can’t wait for them to drown…oh wait, maybe these are the “victims” we’re supposed to be saving with taxpayer money???
